1.“StudyinHefei”GovernmentScholarship:40,000RMB/yearHPEChelpseligiblestudentsapplyforthe“StudyinHefei”governmentscholarship.Thescholarshipisawardedonceayear,andeachpersonhasoneopportunityforapplicationayear.Thecriteriaarespecifiedintheapplicationregulations.Studentswhoreceivethescholarshipmustpayfortuition,accommodationandinsuranceandtheyarenoteligibleforcollegescholarshipsandgrants.Thosewhofailtogainthescholarshipcanenjoycollegescholarships,bursariesandothergrants.

***llegeScholarship(1)LanguageproficiencyscholarshipSuccessfulapplicantsholdingaChineseproficiencycertificateofHSKBand5,Band4orBand3mayapplyforalanguageproficiencyscholarshiprespectivelyforRMB5,000,RMB4,000orRMB2,000.(2)AcademicExcellenceScholarshipAccordingtotheevaluationoftheacademicachievementsandperformanceofthestudentsatschool,threelevelsofannualscholarshipswillbeawardedtostudents:ClassI,RMB3,000,ClassII,RMB2,000,andClassIII,RMB1,000.Thepercentagesofthestudentswinningthescholarshipsinaclassaredesignedtotake15percent,25percent,and30percentrespectively.(3)OutstandingProgressScholarshipThosestudentswhoachieveoutstandingprogressinlearningChinesemayapplyforanoutstandingprogressscholarshipofRMB1,000uponeachbandupgradingintheHSKtests.(3)SchoolBursaryTuitionandaccommodationarefreeofcharge. Insurance,healthcheckup,handlingofresidencepermitafterenteringChinaarecoveredforinternationalstudents.Otherexpensesarepaidbythestudents.(4)Work-studyFinancialAidPolicyInternationalstudentswhosefamiliesareindifficultywillbeprovidedwork-studypositions.Thosefulfillingspecifiedtaskswillgetlivingsubsidyof500yuanpermonth.

VI.ApplicationProcedure

1.Applicantsmustsubmittheelectronicversionoftheapplicationmaterialsonline,andsendthescannedcopiestohfpecinternational@***beforeMay30,2021.Theapplicationmaterialsinclude：(1)Afilled“InternationalStudentApplicationForm”(Appendix1)(2)Applicant’spassport(3)Applicant’shighschoolgraduationcertificateandhighschooltranscripts(fordocumentsinlanguagesotherthanChineseandEnglish,attachnotarizedChineseorEnglishtranslations)(4)ProofofChineseProficiencyTestresult(5)StudyplaninChina(notlessthan800words),includingbutnotlimitedtoeducationandworkexperience,studyplan,andpersonalgoalsaftergraduation(inChineseorEnglish)(6)Recommendationletter,coveringtherecommender’stitle/position,employer,contactnumber,emailandsignature(forlettersinlanguagesotherthanChineseandEnglish,attachnotarizedChineseorEnglishtranslations)(7)Physicalcheckupreportwithinthevalidityperiod(sixmonths).TheapplicantshouldstrictlyfollowtheForeignerPhysicalCheckForm(Appendix2,whichmustbefilledinEnglish),andprovideadetailedreportofthebloodexamination.AForeignerPhysicalCheckFormwithanyitemunfilled,nophotooftheapplicantorphotounsealedontheperforation,nosignatureandstampbythedoctorandthehospital,isinvalid.BringtheoriginalformwhentheapplicantcomestoChina.(8)Nocriminalrecordcertificate(ifthecertificateisinlanguagesotherthanChineseorEnglish,attachanotarizedChineseorEnglishtranslation)(9)AfilledCustodyReleaseForm(Appendix3)

2.Afterreviewingtheapplicants’documents,theadmissionsofficewillsendtothosewhomeettherequirementsanAdmissionLetterandaVisaApplicationFormforForeignStudentstoChina(JW202).
